V&A Lane Shiraz
Wine
Wynns Coonawarra Estate V&A Lane Shiraz is named for the long, straight road which divides Coonawarra's famous strip of terra rossa soil at its midpoint.
The Shiraz fruit is picked from mature vineyards along V&A Lane. The grapes ripen early in the season and are among the first picked each year, contributing freshness to the final wine.
After fermentation, the wine typically matures in lightly seasoned French oak hogsheads and puncheons for 12-18 months.
Bright red, Wynns Coonawarra Estate V&A Lane Shiraz has pure berry flavours, guided by cloudlike tannins to a long spicy finish. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
